Limbé Museum


The Limbe Museum around Cap-Haitien | ZOOM SUR HAITIThe Limbé Museum is commonly called the Museum of Arawak Art of Guahaba, this museum is located in the town of Limbé. Inside visitors can get a close look at pre-Colombian period artifacts, discovered during the archaeological excavations at Puerto Real (a town built in 1503 during the Spanish colonization).

Is dedicated to indigenous artifacts of the Native American Arawak / Taïno tribes. These tribes inhabited the region before the arrival of African slaves.
